Saturday June 23rd

Nature Walk from Alvingham Churches to Willows Lock

A leisurely walk of around three miles, along this beautiful stretch of the Historic Louth Canal. Meet at 10:00 am in the car park area, opposite the Mill & Farm Entrance. Grid ref.TF 367914

Mausoleum Woods walk. TBA.


Friday August 17th

Bat walk, (possibly at Cleethorpes Country Park). Venue to be arranged and booking with Jennie essential.


Sunday August 19th

We have a stand at the Fete run by “Friends around Weelsby” in Weelsby Woods. Grid Ref. TA283080 from 11.30 am to 5 pm. We will have Trust sales goods and Literature.

Help manning the stall would be appreciated.


Tuesday September 11th

For Ticket Holders Talk by Simon King OBE “Wild Africa” in association with “Everyman” and the RSPB, at the Grimsby Institute at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £12 each. For availability phone 01472 502858


On all outdoor walks and visits please wear stout shoes or boots and bring binoculars if you have them. Ray Hume’s bird walks usually last between 1 and a half and 2 hours, other outings are all day. If you wish to leave any of the walks before the end please let the leader know.


Indoor meetings are at Grimsby Town Hall at 7.30 pm in the Crosland Suite at Grimsby Town Hall and last until roughly 9.30 p.m. (note our AGM Is at 7 pm)
